I had to Google "Hen Do" @4:15 = bachelorette party. Katherine @8:25 (whoever she is) makes Americans sound like idiots comparatively.

I had my Mac Classic for years, then got a Quadra 605, then Quadra 630. Then my favorite of all was the dual core G5 I got in 2003, I could play Call of Duty online while rendering 3D animations in the background without any performance hit. Then a Mac mini and finally a 27" iMac with a dual boot with Windows 10.

I have an iPad I got in 2010 which has gotten painfully slow, even after a complete reimage. I read something about Apple throttling down older equipment to encourage you to replace it. Can anyone share any info on this, if it was more than a rumor and if so, did Apple stop doing that?

A white former South Carolina police officer was sentenced to 20 years in prison by a federal judge on Thursday for the shooting death of an unarmed black motorist, an unusually severe sentence for a police shooting.

The judge had earlier ruled that Michael Slager, who shot and killed Walter Scott after a traffic stop in 2015, committed second-degree murder, paving the way for the sentence.
