Larry King's Worst Interview Question
It was a genuine reaction from Seinfeld, not staged or scripted, and it reveals plenty, and it's consistent with other interviews. The dude has a stick up.
Seinfeld is a severely overrated, self-aggrandizing ego-tripper who dumbed down American humor. His shtick breeds apathy and smugness. It was the same old meaningless, very mildly amusing belly-button gazing for years.
He collects Porsches. Dozens of them. What does that tell you? You know the one about the difference between Porsches and porcupines? Seinfeld is the perfect example.
"Bee Movie" is $150 million worth of pure syrupy dreck. I'm sick of the douche (and of his many media sycophants). What I dislike about Seinfeld is his complete preoccupation with himself. He's no hero, he's a self-important dick.
How to Avoid Being Arrested By the Police (seriously though, not the Chris Rock skit)
Have you sent out an automatic email to the person who submitted the video so they actually know it is down??
Did this Drama Queen Deserve to be Tasered? (6:34 min)
Great discussion here, despite the short comments from racist and/or retards (big overlap) like the guy 2 comments back.
I'm all for appropriate force. In this case, I agree that the bottom line is that this very unlikeable woman did not pose a threat worthy of tasering. It was anger and impatience that won out here. These guys are paid to be skilled at de-escalating situations and objectively resisting letting their emotions determine their treatment of citizens, not matter how despicable the behavior of the citizen may be.
At one level it was satisfying to see an idiot get hers. But more importantly, these cops were unprofessional, I beleive.
George Bush doing what he does best. Making a fool of himself.
Will somebody please give him a bjob so we can impeach the bas tard?

Alan Shore telling it like it is
No doubt. I'm saying that these speeches would never be heard outside TV Land. They are too precious and stagey, juries are more jaded looking, the judge wouldn't take counsel's sitting in the witness chair and let the attorney talk over him, etc.
The prosecuting attorney wouldn't be so neocon, and the defense attorney would give a long antiwar, anti-Bush rant--both are too polarizing for a mixed jury. Defense was enjoyable and cathartic for me, but totally made for TV.
It's great to see some actual truth on network TV though.
Alan Shore telling it like it is
A little hammy, and it could never, ever happen in a real courtroom, but the heart is in the right place.
About one of the aspects of his speech to the jury, the lack of trials or even the right to face their accusers, listen to this:

British MP smacks down US Senator in hearing (5/17/05)
Exactly. Galloway is an asshole, a liar, and probably a profiteer from the Oil-For-Food program before the war. But, just as in everyday life, despite being a thoroughly unsavory fellow paradoxically he is often a brilliant orator, and here he totally nails it.
It pains me that the most effective rhetoricians are often the biggest jerks. Where are the Democrats who can speak effectively against the idiots running the country into the ground? Pelosi and Reid are lame.
Anti-recruiting protest taser incident: full video
Not all police, but many, are thugs with a license to cause pain. Any idiot can clearly see these people aren't terrorists or criminals. They were not sticking to their rules of engagement with protesters, and they should be punished. Especially that bald cop--what an asshole.
Welcome to Bush's America. I hope that justice was done in Pittsburgh and that this video evidence enabled reprimands or worse for the offending cops. That girl on the ground was no threat to anyone, who can disagree with that?
