Warcraft Trailer

Also, there's SOOOOOOOOOOOO many little easter eggs in this that i've found, so i'll just list a few (that hopefully won't contain spoilers)

Lakeshire from Redridge Mountains is there
Dalaran is in the sky
Karazhan is there, with what appears to be an old Khadgar, or Medivh
there's a scene with a young Varian Wrynn
The scene with the alliance gathered around the table has a dwarf, and elves.
Potentially Sylvannas and Kael'thalas in it
Gul'dan is (Very VERY) briefly in this
The Dark Portal (not open, the wraith statue gate) can be seen twice

and there's a couple more very spoiler heavy ones i'll leave out.

Warcraft Trailer

That would've been suicide. It'd be like starting the movies for the Harry Potter series on book 4. Sure, you'd have a fanbase that knows the source material and would understand what's going on, but it would alienate everyone who hasn't read the books, and now they don't wanna go see it.

At least this way with it being (somewhat relatively close to) orcs vs humans, we establish the general base for what happens, so if it's a success they can continue down the story.

There's foreshadowing in the trailer anyway, the orc that sends the baby down the river, I'm guessing the baby is Thrall.

Which already kinda mucks up the storyline.. because that more involves parts of warcraft II.. Either way, I thought it looked pretty decent. I'm hoping a bit more work goes into making the orcs look a little more.. not CGI in a couple of those scenes, but I'll probably go see it.

This looks like shit to be honest. But, it looks like they are starting with Orcs vs. Humans, when they should have begun where we are now with Warcraft: undead, trolls, mages, warlocks, elves, lots of magic - etc etc.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: Canadian Election

There's a major difference between accepting religious freedom for ceremonial activities, and for safety practices.

I can understand and agree with them wearing anything they'd like while being in a ceremony as long as it's not disrespectful. What is effectively a scarf covering your face, to me, isn't disrespectful.

However, the argument that eastern religions should be allowed to not wear helmets on motorcycles because they don't want to take off their turbans is ludicrous.

GoPro Falls Off Drone Into Burning Man Dance Floor

Shepppard says...

Yeah, gonna have to say this is definitely fake.

Two shots stand out, the fact that it lands perfectly without bouncing, and then the guy kicks it making it only spin around just enough to see what it needed to see.

Tom Hardy Aggressively Responds To Sexuality Question.

Shepppard says...

Good for him, that was a dumb thing to be asking. The entire thing just seemed like a set up to try and promote the fact that whoever this is works for an LGBT news.. something.

Guns with History

Shepppard says...

So, basically with the exception of like, two of those, Canadian gun laws.

StukaFox said:

I don't want to ban guns, but I would like to see the following:

1. License gun owners like Germany licenses drivers. Six months of classes, followed by multiple exams.

2. Mandatory psychological examination for any person wanting to purchase a gun.

3. Require that a minimum of $1,000,000 death or dismemberment insurance be carried at all times.

4. Automatic 25-year sentence for ANY crime involving a gun.

Limit guns to:

- Shotguns: Single-barrel breach-load.

- Pistols: 6-shot rotating cylinder; hammer-cocked firing mechanism. No semi-automatic pistols.

- Rifles: Single-shot, bolt-action.

Dave grohl once again proving he's awesome.

Shepppard says...

I would wager that's Daves choice, Being as he mostly just sits on his throne, and those would appear to be able to have his arms slide through them while he's playing the 2 acoustic songs of the set.

Those crutches are from the 1940s. Do they still use underarm crutches in the states?

Can you give an example of this? I can't seem to find any specific area where traffic looks abnormal.

Too bad some of that is speeded up.

Look for traffic out on the roads outside. Some of it is 1:1 but the really fast stuff is cheated.
