I think this compilation was made pre-Beowulf. I wasn't such a big fan, but him screaming "I am the teeth in the darkness," etc, as he slammed Grendel's arm in the door would have fit well here.

2007, while basically a good year, didn't have anything that I'm still going to be playing 10 years from now or would call a personal favorite short of Portal. BioShock would've been if it weren't for the awful, awful final act.

Good year, yes. Best? Not even close.

The thing I've found about older games is that I can go back and replay and enjoy them if I played them when they were knew. But if I go back and try to play something I missed completely, I just can't get into it.
