For Ann Coulter - because she comes across so badly, and yet some people do seem to agree with here in the world - I think it's a case of wanting to show her yuckiness, as kind of a public service - and thereby turn her former believers against her.

I suppose I would. I'm all for giving people enough rope to do themselves in. Chomsky? Why is he in your list of devils?
jonnyfair enough. Chomsky has definitely said some bone-headed things, though I know him more for his work in cognitive science. But I was really just trying to keep the list balanced.
rougyI hate Coulter's guts, but to ban her would sort of...run contrary to my beliefs.
