What Will Happen To Sarah Palin?

So the election is almost upon us and I have to admit, it has been very entertaining thanks to one person: Sarah Palin. She has probably enjoyed more media attention than any VP candidate before her, and deservedly so! The last couple of weeks have been filled with Palin gold, ranging from her inability to name a single newspaper to her false knowledge of VP powers. But what will become of her if Obama wins this election?

She might just pack her bags and move back to Alaska, going back to her duties as State Governor, but would the media really want to lose this immensely popular character? Why not build a sitcom around her. If hearing her original thoughts was this much fun, imagine snappy one-liners delivered by this lipstick wearing hockey mom. Or how about a featurette on Animal Planet? It could answer the many questions I have about hunting wolves out of a flying helicopter (mostly how you can consider it hunting).

Maybe she will just wait it out and rerun in 2012. Personally, I don’t want to wait four more years for the next season of the Sarah Palin Show. Considering how much attention she’s gotten on the sift I’d love to hear your opinions on the fate of Sarah Palin!

She's tasted real power, and will thirst for more...

... therefor I predict she will become a vampire, an eternal creature of the night, lording over dreaming cities and townscapes which had once welcomed her and praised her, feasting upon the Prius drivers and the PETA members, the news reporters and librarians, unable to satiate her yearnings, unable to slay her sulfurous desires, driven by ever-present demons to commit the next unspeakable act, until the dawning of the end of times...

She'll make a failed bid for the 2012 Republican nomination and then join Fox News as a political analyst, where she will spew crap and make millions for the rest of her life.

Or, if we're lucky, she'll go to jail over Troopergate and end up making caribou jerky for the rest of her life.

There was this segment on NPR that interviewed various pundits from Alaska - it seems that if the Republicans lose there will be a fallout in Alaska. She'd been good previously at bridging the local party gap to gain votes but her partisanship on the national level is causing a lot of the dems in AK to question her sanity honesty.

Palin is already trying to rally the troops to try to be candidate in 2012.

Problem is, I think Alaska was turning blue this year, prior to the Palin pick.

Polling pre-Palin had Obama within single digits, and closing. Their single house seat is likely to go to a Democrat this year, and now that Ted Stevens was found guilty, it looks like Dems will win one of the Senate seats there too.

Palin's in-state popularity is dropping, and you can count on the netroots to try and raise money for Palin's opponent in her next gubernatorial election.

The RNC couldn't do us a bigger favor than to put her at the top of the ticket in 2012.

I think it'd be a great way to turn Obama crossover voters into registered Democrats.
