VideoSift 5 Hosts

I'm going through a much overdue audit of our hosts list for our definitely-still-coming VideoSift 5.0 release. Some hosts will be going away - like MetaCafe, Google Video and others that have faded into obscurity or been bought out (existing embeds will still work). But I thought I'd put it out there one more time for suggestions on new hosts that you'd like to see included.

If you're not sure what hosts we currently accept have a look at the panel over there, down and to the right --------->

Also, don't forget that silver star and above can currently submit from any source providing they have a non-iframe embed. Starting from VideoSift 5, we'll allow iframe embeds too.

Aww, why get rid of Google Video, Metacafe, etc.? I still have those hosts in my to submit list.

You're already able to submit from any host. I'm assuming that's not changing and that the supported video hosts list is still for newbies only.

It's interesting how much the video landscape has changed over the years. A major factor in the death or (near death) of video providers has to be the 800 pound YouTube gorilla. For a lot of these guys the plan seems to be to stick to a niche - but even there YouTube is probably better at making you money for your original content than self-hosting.

Reuters, I noticed, has decided to just put everything up on YouTube and do away with their own player. Probably a smart economic move.

How about Wink Martindale and Gene Rayburn?

Game show host names actually do play in -- they will replace the classic bronze, silver, gold, ruby, diamond, crown progression in videosift 5.0. Details are still slim but I understand as a Diamond I will become a "Richard Dawson"

Ok, well I've had troubles in the past. And with Teamcoco vids. Case in point:

<iframe width="640" height="465" src="http://teamcoco.com/embed/v/41899" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I'm told this is invalid. Am I doing it wrong?>> ^dag:

Current VS doesn't support it. Make it happen in VS5 please.
