I just want to take this opportunity to publicly thank our resident cat of a thousand faces - schmawy, of course - for inspiring this wild and crazy cheese fest. Compared to some of you I haven't been here that long, but I still think that this may be the most fun we've had here in our little community. It was more than just posting cheesy videos that made it fun, but mainly the funny avatars and silly commentary that made this a party to be remembered.
It truly was a party too. A great, spontaneous, themed costume party. It really built a sense of community in a humorous way. To outsiders who occasionally drop by here they may have thought we collectively lost our marbles when they saw all the cheesy '70s videos hitting the front page, but most sensible people I'm sure would have realized that something fun and silly was afoot. To be honest, I think more than a few of the "cheesy" songs were actually good. I have a feeling many of you feel similarly. I think the term for them is "guilty pleasure."
Unlike KISS, I don't want to party ev-er-y day, so I hope things like this don't happen often, only because then they would lose their magic. But once in a blue moon this would be fun, and the more spontaneous the better.
So give it up for schmawster, for both getting the ball rolling on this cheese meme and creating so many cool avatars for everyone. You da cat!

schmawy^helluva time to go G100 UhohZ. You'll be marked forever. I agree, with kronosposeidon that this would be annoying if it went on too long. It's like it always is for me and it only lasts the length of one queue. It was sooo awesome to have everyone along together for a queue and KP's also right you can't try to plan it. I blame it all on Critter and Captain Willard (who needs a Captain and Tennille cap by the way, Captain!)
There are consequences to this, though. Moondonia broke it's headphones and Choggie sold the Wildwestshow ranch and moved to Europe. Oxdottir is still shaking a little I think. Dag was in his glory, Lucky jumped in, a hoot.
It all came on the heels of my first badly executed * ban, so the timing was great for me 'cause I was in the dumps. I got everybody's cheesy avatar I think, so I'll have to use Lucky's awesome search-o-tron and re-find all the vids and hold those accountable on the blogs at some point when it's just fading from memory...
In short, what a bunch of repressed *cheesehounds we are, eh? Thanks for putting a nail in this thing so we can go back to living our lives.

I guess this is an appropriate place as any to ask what song everyone thinks was the cheesiest? There's a lot to choose from, but if I had to narrow it down I'll say firefly's You Don't Bring Me Flowers and KP's Feelings are probably tied for the Crown of Cheese.
