Because you don't know the difference between "I have the ability to do something" and "Should I do something".

You are a moderator of this community- we expect you to use good judgement, not just test the boundaries of the "rules".

If a post is under discussion as being potentially (or likely) a violation of the guidelines, it is an abuse of power to yank it out of the discussion, and even more so to then plaster it atop the front page.

As explained in the abuse guidelines, "Abuse of the site, other members, votes, posts, comments, or any privileges, especially star abilities, whether mentioned above or not, may result in account suspension or a permanent ban."
