Obama Opposes Fairness Doctrine

Now will you freaked-out neocons stop taking your talking-point orders from Rush & Hannity?

Probably not. You'll probably just move on to the next fake scandal. (i.e; birth certificate, "whitey" tape)

--

"President Obama opposes any move to bring back the so-called Fairness Doctrine, a spokesman told FOXNews.com Wednesday."

Psychologic says...

The Fairness Doctrine wouldn't be needed, news shows already give too much airtime to people with unsupported opposing views.

If there is a scientist telling people that staring at the sun is unhealthy, then you can bet some news show will bring in someone that disagrees with him.

Birth certificate "scandal".

Why is Obama spending thousands of dollars to hide a $10 document? His real birth certificate has never been released.

I don't give a dang if THE ONE is for or against the Unfairness Doctrine. He nor Congress has lawful power in the matter. The difference between a nation of laws and a nation led by a cult of personality.

Honestly, that kind of pisses me off.

The Fairness Doctrine was established to keep one side from hogging the airwaves, and we've seen the right-wing do exactly that.

The abolishment of the Fairness Doctrine is one of the reasons we have so many stupid poor people bragging about being conservatives.

Holy crap quantum!?! I heard that Obama DOES have a birth certificate, but it's from another planet. He is a Reptillian shape shifter who's name is really pronounced Bha'rhachxtk Ogh'bahmbha'h. If only we'd heeded your seemingly lazy, petty and politically shallow comments earlier, we might have had some time to prepare for the impending Reptilian invasion fortold by prophet Marc Singer.

$$$...that's your equal but opposing force right there. As long as there's a market for either side, you'll be able to find news for each. Doesn't make the news any more reliable with or without. Best leave things for yourself to decide.

I don't know, hombre. I just don't think it's as simple as that.

For instance, the Dems now have the upper hand, but they are outnumbered on talk shows two-to-one by the cons.

Randi Rhodes has a greater market share than Rush Limbaugh in many cities, but Clear Channel still won't run her on a station that carries Rush.

The right-wing ideologues will sacrifice profits in order to push their agenda.
