CaptainPlanet420 added nothing to the site other than vitriol and hatred, choggie is still in the top 30 users even though he's been banned for a whole year now. You can't say that doesn't add anything to the site.

I think it is alarming that people get so up in arms about me making that poll. You can always just vote no? It's a gauge to figure out what people think.. it's not like it's binding or anything.

Furthermore, I made the poll because swampgirl never got around to it and with the newest banning, so it seemed like an opportune time to do it.

I would have no problem letting cpn and billo for that matter return on another user, if they did behave. If they didn't, the ban is not far behind again.

Is there any sign that cp420 and billo are interested in returning? As far as I know, they haven't been repeatedly creating shadow accounts since their banning. Then again, they're not as easy to pick out as choggie.

I still think I'd vote against either of them. BillO has a chance, but fuck 420.

It shouldn't need to be voted on. Just bring him back. He broke a few rules, but then so did choggie, yet he was reinstated based on the results of a poll that was discarded before it officially ended. So what's the difference?

I'm not kidding. I don't like CP420 at all, yet he deserves the same treatment as choggie, whom I also don't like. Bring him back. He's fun to kick around anyway. I look forward to lots of fun with choggie. I hope you all do too.

Can we bring back any of the myriad of advertisers who have created accounts and gotten banned after 1 post to SiftTalk? I find them infinitely more appealing than CP420 or BillO...now that's saying something!

^Why not? Each spammer only broke the rules once, while choggie broke rules numerous times. I'm sure if we got to know them better we'd warm up to them, even if they harassed a bunch of members. That would make them geniuses. With beautiful minds.

I posted this three days ago right after the Choggie poll started for no other reason than I was bored. I never expected it to go this far but after all that's happened it turned out to be appropriate to some people's points so I won't take it back now.

Let me explain:

CP420's comments were rarely witty (although sometimes when removed from his politics they were good), they were never insightful and they offended me quite often. Rarely if ever, do I find myself missing him.

And because some people haven't picked up the joke, I want to make this clear:

No part of me finds ex-governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich attractive in any way. I want to be very clear on this point so please re-read the previous sentence very carefully as a favor to me.
