Down Time Yesterday (and Last Night)

We're not sure of an exact hour, but VideoSift will be entering Razzleberry mode some time today, and it could be as soon as midday or early evening (Pacific time).

We are upgrading to some super-duper lightning fast servers so after this, the Sift will load much more quickly. Stay tuned.

[Update]
If you're having problems staying logged in, make sure you delete all videosift cookies from your browser then login again.

It's back, but broken in http://www.videosift.com/talk and can't post, so I had to jump to previous visits. Here's the error for http://www.videosift.com/talk:

I wasn't able to update previously because, like some of the world even now, I couldn't load the new servers. There are still some places on Earth where DNS has not gotten updated.

There have been and continue to be minor tweaks required for everything to work properly, so just let us know here what issues you're encountering.

I'll look into that video submission bug now, ant.

Thanks for the updates. OpenDNS seems to work for me. So far, I have seen these issues (everyone, please kindly pitch in too):
1. SiftTalk's new posts and posting a new one don't work.
2. Can't submit videos ("Embed code appears to be invalid").
3. VS seems to keep kicking me off and I have to login!
4. No new videos on front page since VS came up. Umm, something is wrong?
5. User profiles, even my own, don't work.

^Thanks.

Fixed video submission, blogs tab, channels tab, faq page, search, member profiles, and thumbnails on new vids.

Not sure about people getting logged off. I've been logged in for several hours without any interruption in service.

Things seem to be coming into place. Elements of peoples' profile pages are still missing but that's light years (or 10 hours my time) away from not being able to see my sifted or unsifted videos. So far it seems like It's been a smooth transition.

@dotdude: Sift Lounge is fixed. The embed you posted is probably NSFW and when logged out the NSFW filter is on by default. Still not sure about the logout problem, but I'm keeping an eye on it.

@geo321: What elements of profile pages are still missing?

@everyone_else: I appreciate the hugs and thanks. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Hey Lucky, No matter how many times I kill all videosift cookies and reload the page, I still get it forgetting who I am if I close the tab with videosift in it.

Quite annoying must be said.

None of the www.videosift.com links load for me, while videosift.com links load fine. Quick fix is to remove "www." from the location and reload page. Strangely enough "ping xyz" on MacOS gives same IP address for www.videosift.com as videosift.com
