La vaca de muerte got his Ruby! DC has been with the sift from the very beginning so it's about time It's almost 2 years since he got his Gold-100...

This hobby-astronomer who lives up in the polar regions of the US has been gunning for this gem the last couple of months and has supplied the sift with some great videos and even better comments over the years. And doesn't he look cool? Well, I think so. If you want to know more about his search for aliens, have a look at his blog.

Deathcow is also the owner of the *livemusic channel, which doesn't take up too much of his time I would imagine. Maybe this is the time to change channels?

Anyway, congrats DC, no one is more deserving! Keep searching for the dark side of Uranus and let us know if you find it.

deathcow: without a shadow of doubt you are one of the reasons I stopped being a lurker and became a member in the first place - you're truly one of the most hilarious motherfuckers I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, and your side-splitting one liner comments have long since officially become a defining *quality of the Sift (an yeah that's an awesome and an appropriate picture, rasch).

I thought it would take another year to get to 250 but I found a pretty good source of fresh videos. A ruby! I guess I can quit my day job tomorrow, but I am curious first how this works at the ruby level, do all ruby level people get regular printed paycheck or is it direct deposit?

Yes the livemusic channel is largely hands off. I wouldn't know what kind of channel to switch to, plus Rasch keeps feeding my channel...

Congrats to my oldest friend in the world - not that he's that old. BTW he is also called "Aggro the Axe" but stopped using that handle back when our connections were about 300 bps. 907s rule forever.

I imagine spending time in Alaska as snow hiking to the top op a mountain where an observatory awaits to record the old light that is falling on CCD chips, while reading about the time the Russians ruled the territory and made small stormy trips across Bering Sea..
