Certain advertisements bother me.
Like ads that when even grazed by my mouse start making noise and playing videos! This is especially irritating, but even more so when the advertisement is for fucking Monsanto.
I know the Sift needs advertisement for funding, but this just makes me sick.

I always vote "maybe."
@UsesLevitra:
If ever you encounter problematic/disruptive ads, alert dag of the details and he may be able to pull them.
I hit one earlier on here by some shaving company (gillette?) that covered my entire damn screen
"WOULD YOU LIKE A BIGGER PENIS???
WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE IT?"
Ahhh, internet ads.
Gillette gets my vote for most annoying pop-up ad. Piece of shit won't go away and repeatedly pops-up at the most annoying times.
I'll never by your crap--assholes.
I recently had the displeasure of browsing videosift without adblock and I was amazed at what a mess it's turned into. The floating ad that moved horizontally across the screen (with no way to close it) was especially shocking.
Criticize me for blocking ads all you want, it's bad enough that I would never visit the site if I didn't have adblock. Hell, even without ads the site has gotten so cluttered that it's of questionable value at times.
I browse the store every couple weeks and, once my finances have rebounded, I may buy a couple things. I really don't need the giant row of t-shirts in between comments AND the block of pilsner glasses in the sidebar. They both make me hesitant to even visit the store, actually, especially since I can get damn near anything you have for much cheaper somewhere else.
I've been surfing VideoSift intensly as of late and have no problems with ads whatsoever. Is it because I use Opera?
