Jon Stewart has been bearded recently, what do you think? I think without the beard he presents a more open and friendly face. Also he looks much sexier without one

What he has isn't a beard so much as it is a goatee, right?

It's a goatee with mustache, which looks a bit more weird on him since his chin hair is grey and his mustache is still brown-ish. I say lose the 'stache and rock a grey goatee.

He hasn't said why he grew it (other than the revelation that they're making a sequel to the Faculty , but he's made several jokes about it since the beginning of the week.

I hadn't been following TDS for a while when I saw it. Has he ever said anything about it, or stated his reasons for it on the show?

WTF - Who cares...
OK, so I just Googled it just for fun.... which returned 368,000 results for people talking about his beard.

Really?

Is the news world that slow right now that we should care the he is grown facial hair?
Every man in the world grows facial hair at some point and even some women so why should we even spend my time coming up with an opinion on whether I think he should do grow facial hair?

It's a sad day - Sorry, I can't put a vote in on this because as a man, I could care less how another man grooms himself!

I want to change my vote to "I'm a man goddammit."

Ah, so the poll can also be used for useless sensationalist polls? Duly noted.

Next week's poll.

"Do you think Lindsey Lohan should go to jail?"

Followed by

"Is Brad and Angelina's relationship going to last? Have we seen the last of Jennifer?"

Very good point Tymberwulf. Awhile back I tried to start a poll about who the most influential person in world history was, and @dag removed it because it didn't fit guidelines or something.>> ^Tymbrwulf:

Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)

This poll is admittedly borderline - but we have a he'll of a lot of Daily Show videos on here - so I thought it would pass.

In a related whinge- must we always run the precedence test against anything posted? My kids are always ferreting out potentially impartial or unjust parental decisions. Maybe it's human nature.

Fair enough. Ghengis Khan just can't compete with Jon Stewart. Would have been a hulluva interesting discussion in that poll though.>> ^dag:

It's technically a Van Dyke (goatee with mustache)
