Why Community is the best sitcom of all time

Here's why Community is the ONLY sitcom worth watching for me: brilliant writing, meta-levels of self-depreciating humor and sarcasm, tons of homages, nods, easter-eggs... and this. In an episode dealing mostly with a particular character's inability to cope with the death of his mother, another character's storyline takes place in the background. Simple and yet genius.

Remember how in last week's episode of Community Abed was nowhere to be found? Turns out his entire storyline played out in the background. Mind = blown! (via reddit)

I've tried sifting a number of Community clips on this damned site. For reasons unknown to me (everybody else has bad taste and is incurably stupid), people just don't vote for them.

I suspect you guys are assuming we know the context.

A guy dabbed his pizza to get rid of excess fat and got teased is all I really took away from this.

Also, thats some shit editing.

Are you serious? I would have voted, but this is the first Community clip I've seen on the site.

Damn, looks like I'm too unobservant for this show.
I noticed the youtube title, and even the pregnant woman in the first scene, but missed everything in all the other ones.
Was very confused until I saw your comment and re-watched.
