Loved it. Pure peaceful overwhelming and loving protest. Those bitter, hate-filled fucks. I'm comforted by a line from Carrie Fischer's one-woman-show, "bitterness is like you drinking poison and expecting the other person to die."

Maybe they just wanted to be surrounded by a mob of gay people.

Upvote for the guy eating the burrito with the "Millions of Damned Christians" shirt on. Subliminally, it was read in my mind as "Millions of Dead Christians" (after MDC the legendary punk band if you for some reason don't fucking get it) and I was like "Oh no he duh ehnt!" and rewound and saw that it was just "damned" haha! Awesome shirt regardless.

Not to bring the mood down, but it's truly pathetic that they have that little kid dawning a "God Hates Fags" shirt.

Why do they even make kid sizes of that shirt?

Their numbers are dwindling. They kick out their own sons and daughters for even being the slightest bit tolerant. That kind of hate is not sustainable.

When Phelps and his daughter shuffle off this mortal coil soon, I doubt WBC will survive for long...if that.

They're the ultimate trolls. I'm still of the opinion that if the press would stop giving them attention, they'd wither and die...but "news" always looks for the sensationalism so...

But they have a point. God is all about hate. Don't believe me? Read the old testament.

I love this because it seems they did this anti protest exactly right. WBC's agenda is to incite anger and to draw out the worst in people. It's so easy to go out there and just want to punch Shirley Phelps-Roper right in the mouth, but then they win. Going out there and starting a festive dance party around them was just classic. My favorite signs were "God hates Jay Leno (team Conan ftw!)" and "Vampires suck!"
