Truck Split in Half by Train (aka Turn your Volume Down)

Amateur video of a train crashing through a truck trailer in North Carolina has been posted online.

The accident happened on Friday in the city of Kings Mountain, North Carolina.

It is the fourth such collision involving the city's downtown crossings since 2011.

Trucks are prohibited from crossing the railroad tracks due to the danger of catching the bottom of their vehicles on the crossing, which is what seems to have happened on friday.

In the video the driver of the truck tries frantically to get his vehicle off the track as the passenger train approaches.

WHAAAAAAAAAA! COTTTTTON!!!

The sound of a woman screaming hysterically can be heard as the train smashes through the truck's trailer sending its load of cotton through the air.

Local media report that there were no injuries caused by the accident.
