I like how there was 3 Wii only games on that list. That makes me happy though I'm ready to play them all...cept Metal Gear. I don't ever foresee buying a PS3.

Wait, a game about killing little girls?!

It's called Bioshock and it's made by the same people who did System Shock 2. In some ways paying homage to it.

The killing girls part is an attempt by the developers to inject a moralistic choice into the game, the lil' girls are the only ones who can attain certain items in the game, defended heavily by a mechanized suit of armor called big daddy. If you kill the girl you get alot of stuff, however you need need to first take out the big daddy which is no easy task. At the same time the game will offer you non violent ways to work with the little girls.

Previously Prey was going to have the same kind of thing, before they chickened out and turned it into Quake 4 with some M.C. Escher bits.

The end of Prey brings that sort of thing into play Farhad. It was barely good enough for me to play all the way through. You could see hints that it was supposed to be darker.

I agree Budzos, but you could see the end twist coming from about a mile away. It was obviously clear it wouldn't work if they got back together.

The start of the game hinted at a more alien abduction type goings on, I thought you would at least meet some other abductees, but they threw those opportunities away I don't know why.

Personally I'm really looking forward to Halo 3, Crackdown later this month and Space Giraffe.

I was looking most toward MGS4, but not for the price of a PS3. Looks like I'll be waiting a while.
Assassin's Creed looks good, though.

heh, there was a gaming article that listed Tommy (from Prey) as one of the 10 biggest dorks of 2006. They said he was "dumber than a bag of bags"
I enjoyed the demo, haven't gotten around to buying the game yet.

Well, sadly it seems that GT countdown is being paid to endorse certain games, because i am willing to bet my house that Maxis' "spore" will be a huge hit, it looks irresistable. Secondly, this vid seems focused on FPS games, surprisingly they left out "PROJECT OFFSET," which when it comes out, i will buy a new PC just to play it, and it looks like it will be ten times better than Halo 3, Bioshock, Assassin's Creed, you name it, the only game that i would consider alongside Projectoffset would be MGS4, but like others mentioned, why the @!$@%@#$@ would i buy a PS3 for the price they want?
