TSA Pulls Pants of 71 year old man down

"I have power! I have power! I have power!"

Remember to thank the republicans, and the complacent congress, for the politics of fear. How much are people willing to give up to feel safe. My personal opinion is, if I know I am going to go through a metal detector, wouldn't I want ot take out the nipple rings. But if you want to fly, you have to admit that some crazy american not just terrorists, might do something stupid, so now we have to check everyone.

I've had a TSA numbnuts ask me to unbutton/unzip my pants. I opened my fly in front of a bunch of kids in line, and I thought to myself if I did this in front of kids anywhere else I'd probably be arrested.

9/11 sucked. The TSA sucks more.

How much tax money goes towards paying these goons to enforce ludicrous rules, disregard common decency, and trample all over the concept of innocent until proven guilty?

Reasonable response to 9/11: Sorry kids, no more visits to the cockpit to get free plastic pilot wings from the captain, because now we keep that door locked.

Actual response to 9/11: Form a massive, fascist thug squad to give a vague illusion that the government can prevent all "shit happens" situations by frisking 71 year old men and confiscating water bottles and toothpaste, and call it the TSA.

Draxsays...

*Man sets off alarm*

+"Excuse me sir, could you step aside?"

-"No!"

+"Just who do you think you are?"

-"I... AM... IRON MAN!!"

*kills all TSA agents*

The End

Best sequel ever.

Much uncalled for harassment warrants the label "pigs". "Law Enforcement" seems to know no bounds or Civillty. Having had familiy and friends in "Law Enforcement", I know first-hand that they think they're above the laws the rest of us are subject to.

Everytime I fly, encounter TSA morons and start stripping half my clothes off, I thank (God) that the "shoe-bomber" wan'ts hiding anything up his ass. Imagine what we'd be going though now...

My 79 year old mother in a wheelchair got felt up, under her breasts, when we recently went through airport security. Thank god too, as you know 79 year old grandmothers have a real tendency to hijack airplanes, smuggle drugs and/or weapons. Me? Never even got looked at twice. Then, while on the flight, the airplane's cockpit was opened up, not once, but twice, with only the beverage cart and two effeminate stewards guarding the controls. (Presumably from elderly grandmothers...)

The TSA/airline industry is a joke.

nibiyabisays...

Why not make the cockpit require a SEPARATE ENTRANCE POINT ACCESSIBLE ONLY FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE PLANE?! The senior flight attendant could get the cushy job of hanging out with the pilots and everyone else serves the rest of the plane. The worst someone could do is blow up the plane and hope it falls on something. It would be such an inefficient means to cause terror that no one would bother. Air security achieved. None of this shit is required anymore. Done.

vermontersays...

There is no reason for any of this. Cockpit security is already fine. Before 9/11 everyone in the industry was told to cooperate with hijackers. What used to happen was a flight to Cuba or some other destination and then a hostage stand-off. Simply changing to the locked cockpit door is the only new security that was, or is, necessary. The rest of this is just security theater, but no one seems to know how to stop.

Blame political correctness.

Everyone KNOWS a 73 year old woman is not a terrorist, but if they target the real potential threats (Muslim males 16-45) it'd be called "profiling".

Cultural Marxism is a PATHOLOGICAL POISON that is killing our COMMON SENSE and it will IRREPARABLY DESTROY European civilization.

I totally agree with you. I'm white and I strongly believe that profiling people is the only logical way to do things.

As long as we're talking about only profiling brown folks.

You can be safe or you can be free. You can't have both.

Disagree.

Don't mistake disrespect for increased security. A respectful security agent is at least as effective as a disrespectful one. All of these searches could have been done in a more respectful way. (You'll notice nobody is complaining that there's too much security, just that it's disrespectful.)

When I used to travel by air through the States, the security folk had this attitude like I had no choice but to travel through the States, and that gave them licence to bark orders at me in O'Hare and JFK, like I'm a convict being admitted to prison. But I do have a choice, because I'm only passing through, so I never travel through the States anymore, if there's any way to avoid it. And I'm safe. And respected.
