Video Flagged Dead

THIS is what Sweeney Todd sounds like.

Don't get me wrong, I liked the Burton adaptation of Sweeney quite a bit, but he completely miscast the two leads. They are just too petite, young, pretty, soft voiced and fashionable to play Sweeney and Lovitt.

This is George Hearn and Angela Lansbury in a late 70's stage version of the show. Issy and I are going to see the revival next month and can't wait.
