Red Hot Chili Peppers - ' Fortune Faded '

"Fortune Faded" is a song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It was released in 2003 as a single, to coincide with the release of their Greatest Hits album. The song, along with "Save the Population" (another song from their Greatest Hits), was recorded at The Mansion and produced by Rick Rubin. A music video was also produced, though is rarely recognized.

The song was first played live by the Red Hot Chili Peppers at a few concerts in August 2001 in Europe, but the tune was not included on the following album By The Way (2002). However, a performance is featured on the live album Live in Hyde Park (2004).
