I'm pretty excited about the speech. and I've reached my conclusion: Obama is such a good talker, nobody notices that his speech is free of substance.

It's kind of like seeing your x-girlfriend before she sees you... you miss so much but there's a hollow feeling going with it. I recognize what I loved about Obama in his speech, but it all rings so hollow.

I liked the straightforward speech overall and I liked how he addressed a lot of what he called "confusion that has run rampant."

THIS is the president we elected! Keep up the speeches like this and the dumber half of the country wont have to rely on radio hosts for information.

I find it delicious that in ~3:10 (of part two) of a good speech Obama says 'In the past few months we've seen Washington at its best... And at its worst.' only to be idiotically heckled minutes later in one of the worst displays by either side of the aisle I've ever seen caught on film.
