Whats the big deal? I babies didn't seem to mind it.

The behavior of this nanny might not be ok in the eyes of the mother, but it doesn't not seem to me to be dangerous. I am a first time dad with a 4-week old boy, and I don't think this is in any way "shocking".

If it is shocking to you, then maybe your child is too bubble-wrapped.

Maybe she shouldn't work then.

Not shocking or dangerous? Some of you people concern me. How that behavior is acceptable to anyone is beyond me. So she tossed them onto pillows or let them fall over on a couch. Do you realize how easily that first kid toppling over could have kept going and hit the floor? Or if that putz of a nanny missed the pillow. It's not a matter of overprotection, it's protection period.
