I remember this well, we mocked it quite a bit. I remember the first run of the commercial had the lines "coffee gives you the time to dream it, and the vitality to do it". Then some agency got upset about the claim of coffee giving you vitality so they changed it to "then you're ready to do it." This is all from memory of 28 years ago but I'm pretty close.
