Joe The Plumber: Obama's Plan Will Cut My Taxes

quantumushroomsays...

Obamarx is deliberately vague about what constitutes the 250K. Gross income? Net? Payroll taxes? Social Security? Health insurance?

250K is a number pulled out of the air. It's a lot for the income of a single wage earner but peanuts for all aspects of a small business.

It's still a wealth redistribution scheme, that's what marxists do. Joe has monkeywrenched the O Train. One man CAN make a diff. Yes he CAN.

^ So is the regressive tax structure, it's just redistributionary in the other direction.

BTW, dirt-diggers show that Joe the PlumberTM makes $40k/yr, meaning he gets about 3x the tax cut from "Obamarx" than he would from McNasty and Mooselini.

If one went to OBAMA's WEBSITE and LOOKED UP what he prosed the 250 meant he might find out that it is NET income! But dont take my word for it. LOOK IT UP from the source! Still, dont believe everything you hear or read.

^ I'm not sure how that makes a difference. Isn't that better than taxing gross income? Is this another right-wing talking point?

Seriously, everyone who comes even close to $250,000/yr income, using any one of QM's caveats is still wealthier than average, by a wide margin.

If you voted for Bush, and you enjoyed that tax cut, coupled with a spending increase, consider this the tax that Bush was too much of a pussy to levy on you to balance his spending.

If you voted against him, consider it the "clean up after Bush" tax, because it'll take a lot to pay down the $5 trillion in debt he ran up.

And if you're a regular guy who doesn't make a quarter-million a year, enjoy your tax cut, you earned it by making less after inflation than you did in 2000, on average.

Baracks' tax plan taxes those who make more than $250,000.00 a year AFTER the 316 deductions allowed by law. So, in reality, your business needs to NET about half a million dollars per year before you'd have to pay a Little Bit more in taxes.

How many people do you think you'd need to employ in a business that makes nearly half a million dollars a year? It's probably not a mom-and-pop shop, I'll tell you that.
