Imams on way to Islamaphobia Conference yanked from plane

Wow wow and double wow. I posted this on Facebook with the comment "required viewing."

If this were to happen in Finland or something, THEN I'd say "wow wow and double wow." But, to quote the parking garage attendant from Ferris Bueller's Day Off, what country do you think this is?

I was suprised at the public statement.

"We take security very seriously", it should have been "equality" and "discrimination" right?

It's not even good bullshitting.

So it begins, oh wait. The US has a history of this sort of xenophobia.

See Japanese Internment Camps, also German Internment Camps. The long plain history of persecution of the "Red Man." The bullshit of segregation.

That's not even including the kind of bullshit that takes place with LGBT.

That pilot from delta can go fuck himself.

Sorry, where's the part in this article that reports of a Finnish airline pilot refusing service to a pair of Imams? As promised, if it's there (and I merely failed to see it), I'll be the first to say "wow wow and double wow".

Golly, you sure showed me.

We'll see how much they'll affect things in the long run. Granted there are some blatant racists in there, and especially in their voters, but at least on surface the party seems to criticize the current way the government handles immigration, rather than trying to outright ban people from entering. Depending on how much and in what ways they want to revise things could either turn out horrible or be the best thing to happen in Finnish politics for a long time. We'll see.
