Marijuana for recreational purposes is actually legal in Denver County.
The State of Colorado may still try to prosecute you for possession or consumption but first they have to catch you with it. Without the participation of the Denver County Police this is much less likely to happen.

well... I think people who have the time to go to a giant session in a park on a Tuesday may fall into a few of those stereotypes.
The reality is there are a proportion of heavy smokers who fall into some pretty lazy patterns. I've been friends with, lived with and periodically been one of them. Though you obviously don't need weed to be a lazy bum.

That's certainly true, but I get pretty tired of the same negative stereotypes being joked about by people in the media. It really cheapens the reality of the situation.

And I just want to point out that a lot of people keep this country moving who don't work regular "office" hours, so it's not a black mark against anyone for showing up there on a Tuesday.

I'm really glad they were all there.

The reality is that people have to deal with criminals, and be treated as a criminal, for buying and using marijuana...and I and millions of others are pretty sick of it.

I mean, it's kind of like accusing everyone who likes to drink beer of being a stereotypical drunk and acting as if that were a valid point to make about beer drinking.
