therealblankmansays...Cenk's a little off base with this one. It was a stupid, insensitive and incorrect comment and can't really be defended without making it sound worse- as illustrated by Rosen's "clarification" statement. Do the appropriate Mea Culpa thing and move on so we can discuss more important matters.
Phreezdrydsays...This is one of the most ridiculous spin jobs I've ever seen. Hilary Rosen was talking about Ann Romney not being employed outside the home, as in "work". I certainly didn't need Cenk to explain this to me, but he seems to be one of the very few in the media that understood what she said. The people that bought the spin on this comment, and acted all shocked and disgusted, should be ashamed of themselves. The "clarification" and apology were totally unnecessary.
Did Ann Romney ever have to worry about money, or get a job while raising her children? No. Case closed.
HugeJerksays...Politicians and Pundits seem to have lost all sense of comprehension. They seize on one small portion of a statement and spin it into false outrage.
