Guinea pigs FLOOD! during meal time at a zoo.

These guinea pigs are in a zoo in the park in Kichijoji, Japan (Tokyo). They are petted all day by visitors and at then end of the day they get to eat dinner. They pour out of the bin in a mob. From http://mfrost.typepad.com/cute_overload/2007/07/at-a-zoo-in-kic.html ...

..looks like a buncha cows in a feed lot....what kind of zoo keeps rodents??? Imagine these guys the size of Volkswagons, traveling en-masse across Kansas, ravaging cornfields like locusts......it could happen.

Maybe they're being raised as food for other animals? It does seem like they have too many to just be keeping them as an exhibit.
