Pretty sure that's all it was. Just him checking his personal e-mail (instead of doing his job and paying attention to the issue) and some links he received/clicked and then closed pretty quickly. People receive shit in their e-mail all the time, can't really fault the guy for that. The way I've seen it reported, you'd think he was jacking off on the Senate floor.

I'm not sure how I feel about his personal laptop being filmed in the first place.

The video clip doesn't show what he was doing when the offending content was displayed on his screen. Now if he opened up his favorites, launched a porn site, and went surfing for porn, that is one thing, but him clicking on some random link someone sent him (like an idiot, but hey, he'll learn eventually) then it puts a completely different light on the subject.

Now I suppose some would fault him for doing other stuff on his laptop when he should be paying attention. I can understand that; but I also know people who can multi-task quite well in meetings, so personally I wouldn't immediately fault him for that.

I don't know this guy though, so he could still be a douche. I'm just hesitant to jump on the douche bandwagon with only this to go on.
