Compilation of vehicle crashes at Chinese University campus.

This apparently takes place at Huazhong University of Science & Technology. I would consider they should use some stoplight technology or stop sign science on their campus roads.

Seems they understand how to make cars and bicycles, but not the rules governing how they handle. Here in my state in the USA, after the third accident, SOMETHING, would be done. Short term would be to place traffic cops and signs. Long term, paint the roads, add stop lights, and more signs informing motorists of the type of intersection ahead.

"Oh look, a guy standing there not looking"
*runs in to guy*

Seriously, does no one actually slow down and look (since, ya know, it seems like looking before driving sounds like a good idea and all)??

"Officials are telling us now that the Motorskill Ordinace Retarded Operation Nerve gas or ,"MORON" was released from low-flying drones over the campus, over a 2 day period-These accidents you are watching happened within the same period in which the gas was said to have been......Wait a moment, this just in, I am now being told that is was NOT a realease of the popular nerve gas, and that Chinese people simply become hypnotized, when travelling faster than 4 miles per hour."

Holy crap! How many people have to be injured before they install a couple stop signs? It's like these people are completely blind to cross traffic. And that guy who was just standing there and got slowly rolled into? That driver needs to be shot before s/he drives into a farmer's market.

So I was sitting here being some what silly and said, "Man, Chinese people can't drive". Then my roomy shouted out, "Hey, don't be racist...Asian people can't drive." Loling ensued

The problem is that in China, car ownership is a relatively new phenomenon due to the rapidly rising economy. Most people there are first time car owners. The licensing process itself is fairly lax, and traffic regulations are often times ignored. So yeah, they're basically a bunch of noobs.
