thats exactly how i got my evil kitty.
she had mites in the gazillions and her eyes were infected with a bacteria that only the mother can clean out and can cause blindness.
at least thats what dr hicks told me.
40 bucks later and my sasha was gtg.
now she terrorizes my other cats.
on the cool side she is so smart she listens to voice commands.
but dont YOU try to tell her what to do.
her claws are like scalpels...and she uses them.....efficiently.

I suppose it is possible, but my faith in humanity and in the humane treatment of animals has been deteriorating for awhile. Especially after recent stories like this one which is pretty near to where I live. This is pretty disturbing:
